What type of bikes do you hire?
Our fleet primarily comprises Trek Marlin mountain bikes, available in both adult and children's sizes, ideal for trail and road cycling. Additionally, we provide Bianchi E-bikes for daily rental.
Can you deliver further than the Free 5 mile Limit?
We offer delivery to most locations in Cornwall, including varying start and end points for one-way cyclists.
The price depends on the delivery location, the number of bikes required, and the hire period. Please contact us initially for a quotation.
Do you accept last-minute bookings?
Certainly, we offer last-minute bike hire; please reach out to us to check availability.
Tours need to be booked in advance, however, it's always a good idea to contact us to check if there's one scheduled for the day.
How fit do I need to be?
It is important to have a reasonable level of fitness and activity, but our tours are flexible and can be tailored to your experience. Please review our cycling levels and inform us of your level at the time of booking, so we can customize the tour to suit you.
Do you hire out childrens bike seats?
Our company is committed to health and safety at all times. Due to the varying weights of children and the differing cycling skills of adults, we choose not to rent out children's rear seats.
Instead, we provide robust Burley trailers that can comfortably accommodate one or two riders. The minimum age requirement is 12 months, with a total weight capacity of 45kg.

Do I need Insurance?
Customed Cycle Tours operates out of Perranporth, situated on Cornwall's North Coast.
Instead of a traditional storefront, we offer a mobile bike hire delivery service, and our tours feature specific starting and ending locations.

When and how do we pay?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking for cycle hire and tours. The remaining balance is due upon delivery of the bikes or at the beginning of the tour.
Bike rentals require a minimum age of 18.
For participation in our tours, individuals must be at least 14 years old and accompanied by an adult.
What comes with the bikes
We supply helmets, locks, high-visibility jackets, adult drink bottles, and puncture repair kits.
