Custom Cycle Tours, a limited company based in picturesque Perranporth on Cornwall's northern coast, is the brainchild of husband and wife duo, Loz and Liz. They specialize in tailor-made guided cycling tours, high-quality delivered bike hire, and expert cycling event management.

Since meeting in 2003, Loz and Liz have harbored the dream of establishing a business that would work around their large family life. They aspired to have more time together, enjoying the beautiful area that they live in, and share their passion for cycling.

Loz, Brisbane born, settled in Cornwall over two decades ago, instantly connecting with its allure. With extensive experience in events management, he ensures a seamless cycling tour experience.

​

Transitioning from his Harley-Davidson to bicycles, Loz organized 'Le Capital,' his inaugural charity cycle tour, supporting a group from Cornwall to London. This venture spurred him to undertake a personal challenge: cycling from Paris to London in 24 hours, followed by running the London Marathon the very next day.

As the founder of the Perranporth Cycling Club, Loz has orchestrated numerous local rideouts and events, acquainting himself with the best routes for cyclists of all levels throughout Cornwall.

​

Meanwhile, Liz runs operations from behind the scenes, ensuring the booking system's efficiency and the procurement of appropriately sized bicycles. A Cornwall resident for over four decades, she is definitely  a 'jam first' type of person now!

Her background in IT, marketing, and social media management, coupled with her experience in the tourism sector, including a stint managing Perranporth Tourist Information, makes her an invaluable asset.
